Participant Information: Hearing-Impaired
- Seeking participants with hearing impairment to
enroll in research that is trying
to improve sound intelligibility for hearing aids of the future.
Participants need to be diagnosed with either mild, moderate or severe (but not profound) hearing loss and will be asked to provide a copy of
their most recent audiogram. Being selected for enrollment requires the ability to perform the required
listening tasks. Participants may currently wear hearing aids but may
not have cochlear implants.
Experiment takes approximately four to six one-hour sessions in the lab, and pays $15/hr. Seeking reliable volunteers with good concentration.
